Vietnam: a Southeast Asian market worth watching
Vietnam is one of Southeast Asia's most consistently growing economies with strong business potential:
- Vietnam's economy continues to grow steadily, with sustained GDP expansion and robust development of production and international-trade infrastructure.
- Consumer base the middle class is expanding rapidly driving rising purchasing power for consumer goods — especially health and beauty
- Demand in 'beauty & personal care' is growing clearly as consumers prioritize self-care and higher product standards — especially cosmetics, skincare, and specialty products like hair care. The growth of e-commerce makes it easier for new products to reach consumers.
Recent research forecasts that Vietnam's cosmetics market will keep growing through 2030 with market size growing several times from today's level — creating real opportunities for foreign brands to compete and gain share.
